Presented by Iron Resurgence and Pioneer Fit, War on the Shore is the biggest strength event on the west coast for 2019! Elite strength athletes will press, squat, throw, lift and hold in five events over three days to prove who the strongest man and woman are! Events include the woman’s world record log press and world record deadlift for under 105kg men. Come out and watch 90 athletes perform electrifying feats on strength while enjoying your beer of choice!


SESSION 1

Friday, June 14

1:00PM-4:00PM

Amateur Men

Viking Press

The athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible on the Viking Press. The athlete will not be allowed to double dip under the apparatus. The athlete must lock out and be given the down command by the judge. The athlete may drop the apparatus one time to reset, but will be terminated if a second drop occurs. Wraps, belts, elbow and knee sleeves are allowed. No suits.

Lever Squat

The athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible on the Lever Squat. The athlete must squat to depth and listen for the judges up command. Once the athlete drops, the number of reps is recorded. Wraps, belts, sleeves and grip shirts are allowed. No suits.

Conan’s Wheel

The athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many turns on the wheel as possible. At the end of the athlete’s run, the appropriate measurement will be determined by the judges and recorded. 1 drop allowed only. The second drop will stop the event and the distance will be measured accordingly. Wraps, belts, sleeves and grip shirts are allowed. No suits.

World Record Attempt

Don’t miss this World Record attempt by Adam Derks as he attempts to deadlift 900lbs, beating the current men under 105kg record.

Viking Press

The athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible on the Viking Press. The athlete will not be allowed to double dip under the apparatus. The athlete must lock out and be given the down command by the judge. The athlete may drop the apparatus one time to reset, but will be terminated if a second drop occurs. Wraps, belts, elbow and knee sleeves are allowed. No suits.

Keg Toss Over Bar

The athlete will have 60 seconds to complete a 4-keg toss over bar. Time will stop when last keg strikes the ground. If all kegs are not thrown over, number of kegs to make it over will be recorded with the max 60 seconds. Men’s height is 15ft.

Iron Stein Hold

The athlete will be given the Iron Stein to double-front hand hold at shoulder height or above until they drop their arms drop below shoulder parallel. Once the athlete drops their arms below parallel shoulder height, the time is stopped and will be recorded accordingly.

Pro Men

Keg Toss Over Bar

The athlete will have 60 seconds to complete a 4-keg toss over bar. Time will stop when last keg strikes the ground. If all kegs are not thrown over, number of kegs to make it over will be recorded with the max 60 seconds. Men’s height is 15ft.

Iron Stein Hold

The athlete will be given the Iron Stein to double-front hand hold at shoulder height or above until they drop their arms drop below shoulder parallel. Once the athlete drops their arms below parallel shoulder height, the time is stopped and will be recorded accordingly.

56LB Weight Over the Bar

The athlete will attempt to throw, one-handed, a 56lb weight attached to a ring handle over a bar in a rising height format. Each athlete will be given three chances to make each height, but if they miss, they are out. The competition ends with either the highest weight attempt or the least amount of misses if there are two or more athletes at the same height.
